The Dive Company's Guide to Signing up Dive Trips Alone

Dive travel is a fantastic way to explore the underwater world while meeting new people and creating unforgettable memories. Many divers, whether experienced or new, choose to embark on solo dive trips for various reasons. Here's everything you need to know about signing up for our dive trips alone.

introverts, shy people, and loners

because half of the time you are on a dive trip,
you are underwater where noone can talk to you.

Saying that, scuba diving is also a great way to expand your network. There is a lot of down time in between dives and after a full day of diving for those who love to talk and socialise as well. It is absolutely no problems if you have no friends. Half of our divers that join our weekend trips and our dive excursions come on as solo divers. It is so cliche but everyone leaves as friends.

What is the best way to make friends?
to have a common interest.

And diving being the common interest, you will make some friends by the end of a trip with The Dive Company. There is always something to talk about when it comes to diving: more courses, dive destinations, previous dive experience, favourite animal, favourite gear, photography, photography technique and so much more.

Weekend Only

Every weekend we are diving Tioman Malaysia in the high season; and Hantu Singapore for the low season.

Dive Excursions

Every year we want to explore something epic. We are generally looking for a pelagic (whale shark, manta, hammerheads). And if we have the interest and numbers, we will dive and explore as many dive destinations as our divers want. Always planning our excursions in a way to cater to all different types of divers: macro/muck, wrecks, pelagics, currents, and more.
